Chopra Center Certified InstructorPrimordial Sound Meditation is a technique of meditation based on the Vedic tradition of India, revived by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon.

Primordial Sound means mantra. Using a mantra helps us relax our mind in a state of peace and openness, allowing us to be more present.

Benefits of meditation include releasing stress, anxiety, fatigue, lowering blood pressure, reducing chronic pain and inflammation, improving sleep and immune system. Meditation also helps us gain clarity about our life by expanding our awareness beyond the mind’s noisy thought traffic.

All classes include breathing exercises to help settle body and mind, a guided meditation and a time of silence.

The Primordial Sound Meditation course is a program taught in four sessions regrouped or spaced out to your convenience. You learn more about the benefits of meditation and perfect your practice.You also receive your personal mantra, which is your “Primordial Sound”.

-session 1: Understand the profound benefits of meditation and why this ancient practice is so relevant to our modern world.

-session 2: You receive your personal mantra in a short but memorable ceremony and practice with your primordial sound for the first time.

-session 3: You perfect your practice. We discuss every details of the practice and allow any question to come up.

-session 4: You practice more and learn about the “Higher States of Consciousness”, a journey of personal growth.
