This Wednesday, February 14, at 7pm, I will present my latest trek to Nepal.

The ” Manaslu Balcony Trek” is an original route located north of Gorkha, where the epicenter of the earthquake was located. I organized this trek with my long time friend/agent Ashok Basnyat and led four people who discovered Nepal for the first time.

We trekked through millet terraces and villages, which gave us a chance to see local people busy with their usual activities:  working in the fields, carrying big loads, making a basket, chatting and greeting us with wonderful smiles.  We did not see any other trekker as it is not a route you find in books.  During this 9-day long trek, we also walked on ridges and woke up to beautiful sunrises such as the one on the Annapurnas, see the photo above.
