WHAT IS PRIMORDIAL SOUND MEDITATION?

When we spend time in silence, we can hear the voice of our soul whispering its sacred message and encouraging us to make choices that bring us more happiness, health, love, meaning, and peace. ~David Simon

Chopra Center Certified InstructorPrimordial Sound Meditation is a technique of meditation based on the Vedic tradition of India, revived by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon.

Primordial Sound means mantra. Using a mantra helps us relax our mind in a state of peace and openness, allowing us to be more present.

Benefits of meditation include releasing stress, anxiety, fatigue, lowering blood pressure, reducing chronic pain and inflammation, improving sleep and immune system. Meditation also helps us gain clarity about our life by expanding our awareness beyond the mind’s noisy thought traffic.

All classes include breathing exercises to help settle body and mind, a guided meditation and a time of silence.
